Vikram Solar has secured a 124 MW solar module supply order from Capital Energy for a utility-scale solar project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its G12R TOPCon solar modules with power ratings ranging from 620 Wp to 630 Wp. Module deliveries are scheduled to commence in October 2026, with the order targeted for completion by the end of the third quarter.
The contract strengthens Vikram Solar’s presence in India’s rapidly expanding utility-scale solar market, where demand for high-efficiency and high-power photovoltaic modules continues to grow. The deployment of advanced TOPCon technology is expected to support improved energy generation and project performance.
The order also reflects the continued expansion of India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem. With renewable energy capacity additions accelerating across the country, manufacturers are increasingly focusing on advanced module technologies to meet the requirements of large-scale solar projects.
As Capital Energy advances its solar development activities in Andhra Pradesh, the supply agreement further highlights the growing role of Indian module manufacturers in supporting the country’s clean energy transition and long-term renewable energy targets.
