Tata Power and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. (TATA.ev) have achieved a major milestone with their 10 co-branded Mega Charger hubs recording more than 70,000 EV charging sessions across Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
The charging network has delivered more than 85,000 charging hours, supporting over 75 lakh electric kilometres and helping avoid an estimated 6,690 tonnes of CO₂ emissions. The network comprises 25 fast chargers and 56 charging guns, with a combined charging capacity of 2.7 MW. Individual hubs offer capacities ranging from 180 kW to 600 kW, enabling multiple EVs to charge simultaneously.
Four Mega Charger hubs are located along the Yamuna Expressway between Greater Noida and Agra, while three hubs serve the Hyderabad–Vijayawada corridor. Additional locations support EV travel on the Bengaluru–Tirupati and Pune–Bengaluru routes, along with intra-city mobility in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
The milestone highlights the growing demand for reliable, high-speed EV charging infrastructure across major highways and urban centres, supporting the expansion of electric mobility in India.
