KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company and an RPG Group entity, has secured new orders worth ₹1,303 crore across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Cables & Conductors businesses.
The T&D business has secured orders for projects across India, the Middle East and the Americas. These include a 400 kV transmission line project in Northern India, 380 kV transmission line projects in Saudi Arabia, and orders for the supply of towers, hardware and poles in the Americas.
The company’s Cables & Conductors business has also secured multiple orders from customers in India and international markets, further strengthening its order book across the segment.
Commenting on the order wins, Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International, said the company was pleased with the new orders despite a challenging business environment.
He said the India T&D business had secured a prestigious order from an existing private-sector client for a transmission line project aimed at evacuating power from a hydroelectric plant in Northern India.
KEC International’s International T&D business has also strengthened its presence in the Middle East through multiple orders from Saudi Arabia. The company said the outlook for its T&D business remains robust, supported by a strong L1 position, a large pipeline of opportunities and sustained demand across key markets.
With the latest wins, KEC International’s year-to-date order intake has crossed ₹7,600 crore. The company said the new orders are expected to contribute to its targeted growth going forward.
