Saatvik Green Energy has been selected by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for a 600 MWp solar module supply package valued at ₹1,041.63 crore.
Under the order, Saatvik will undertake the manufacturing, testing, packing, supply and transportation of domestically manufactured solar PV modules using domestic solar cells.

The order comes as India continues to strengthen its domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem and expand integrated capabilities across the solar value chain.
Saatvik currently operates a 4.86 GW module manufacturing facility in Ambala. The company is also expanding its manufacturing footprint in Odisha, with Phase I planned to include 2.4 GW of cell capacity and 4 GW of module capacity, followed by a proposed 3.6 GW cell capacity in Phase II.
The development highlights the growing role of domestic cell and module manufacturing in supporting India’s expanding solar market and reducing dependence on imported components.
