SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has invited bids for the development of up to 1,000 MW AC of grid-connected solar PV projects across Punjab and Rajasthan. The tender covers EPC development along with land and five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M).

The tendered capacity is divided into four 250 MW AC units. Bidders can submit proposals for aggregate capacities of 250 MW, 500 MW, 750 MW or 1,000 MW.

Each 250 MW unit consists of two portions. For 100 MW, the contractor will supply the solar PV modules along with other required equipment and materials. For the remaining 150 MW, SGEL will provide the solar PV modules, while the contractor will manage the balance of the project requirements.

The selected contractors will be responsible for project execution, including land-related activities, engineering, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and grid integration. Comprehensive O&M services will be required for five years.

Bidders are required to submit an EMD of ₹10 lakh per MW, while the tender document costs ₹5,000 plus GST.

The last date for bid submission is September 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with techno-commercial bids scheduled to open at 3:00 PM on the same day.

The tender represents a significant expansion of utility-scale solar development in Punjab and Rajasthan and supports SGEL’s broader renewable energy growth plans.
