AmpereHour Energy Delivers 50 MW / 200 MWh BESS for Serentica Renewables in Rajasthan

AmpereHour Energy has delivered the EPC for a 50 MW / 200 MWh utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for Serentica Renewables in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The project has been commissioned as Phase 1 of Serentica Renewables’ planned 1 GWh energy storage project in Bikaner. The system comprises 40 battery containers and 20 power conversion system (PCS) units, supported by N+1 redundant auxiliary power and advanced fire and safety infrastructure.

AmpereHour Energy’s ELINA Energy Management System (EMS) integrates the battery management system (BMS), PCS, SCADA, protection systems and grid interfaces. The BESS also supports grid communication through IEC 61850, IEC 104, Modbus TCP/IP, DNP3 and OPC UA protocols.

The project is expected to strengthen grid-scale energy storage capabilities and support the integration of renewable power for reliable, round-the-clock electricity supply to industrial consumers.
