Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) programme across its entire Electric Origin SUV portfolio, covering the BE 6 SPORTEQ, XEV 9S and XEV 9e.

The BaaS model separates vehicle and battery financing, helping reduce the upfront cost of EV ownership. Under the programme, the BE 6 SPORTEQ starts at ₹11.45 lakh, while battery financing is offered at an effective usage cost of ₹3.75/km.

The XEV 9S starts at ₹12.65 lakh and the XEV 9e at ₹13.90 lakh under BaaS, with the same ₹3.75/km effective battery usage cost. The programme is now available across all variants of these three electric SUVs.

The wider rollout marks Mahindra’s effort to make premium EV ownership more accessible by offering customers greater flexibility in managing their upfront and ongoing costs.
