NLC India’s wholly owned subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Ltd. (NIRL), has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from SJVN for 200 MW of wind power capacity. The capacity was secured through SJVN’s auction for 600 MW of ISTS-connected wind power projects.
Under the project, SJVN will enter into a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NIRL. The project is required to achieve full-capacity commissioning within 24 months from the effective date of the PPA.
The award strengthens NLC India Renewables’ renewable energy portfolio and adds to its growing presence across wind, solar, green hydrogen and energy storage projects.
