CHARGEZONE has secured long-term EV charging energy contracts worth more than USD 1 billion (approximately ₹10,500 crore) across intercity electric buses, trucks and commercial car fleets. The contracted demand will support the company’s next phase of expansion, including the deployment of 1,000 new supercharging stations across key national highway corridors.
The new charging stations are expected to support more than 15,000 electric vehicles daily. The company plans to add 180 MW of charging capacity, increasing its cumulative network capacity from 120 MW to 300 MW. At full deployment, CHARGEZONE expects the expanded network to deliver around 700 GWh of energy annually and support more than 15,000 charging sessions per day.
To fund the expansion, CHARGEZONE has secured USD 25 million in debt financing from Indian banks and plans to raise an additional USD 100 million during 2026–27. The funds will support new supercharging stations, micro-grid infrastructure, energy-management technologies and network expansion.
The company is also integrating renewable energy sources, including solar power generation and battery energy storage systems (BESS), into its charging infrastructure to increase renewable energy usage, manage peak power requirements and improve energy resilience.
