BikeWo Green Tech has appointed automotive industry veteran Sumanth Badiga to its Advisory Board as the company expands its enterprise mobility and logistics operations.
Badiga brings more than three decades of experience across the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors. He currently serves as Managing Director of Jasper Industries, part of the Jasper Automotive Group, and is also Chairman of Adithya Automotive Applications.
His experience spans commercial and passenger vehicles, OEM relationships, vehicle distribution, after-sales operations and large-scale automotive businesses. He has also held senior leadership roles within the Tata automotive ecosystem, with exposure to OEM operations and commercial vehicle markets.
As a member of BikeWo’s Advisory Board, Badiga will advise the company on commercial vehicle strategy, fleet development, OEM and industry partnerships, vehicle procurement and deployment, enterprise customer relationships and specialised logistics applications.
The appointment comes as BikeWo expands its integrated mobility and logistics capabilities across last-mile, mid-mile and long-mile transportation. The company is also working to strengthen its technology-enabled mobility and logistics platform across multiple segments of the transportation value chain.
Commenting on the appointment, Hiten Pal Saklani, CEO, BikeWo Green Tech, said the company is moving beyond traditional last-mile mobility towards an integrated enterprise logistics and transportation platform. He added that Badiga’s experience across OEMs, vehicle distribution, fleet applications and the automotive value chain would provide guidance as BikeWo develops partnerships and solutions for enterprises and logistics operators
