Sterling and Wilson’s Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has secured a Large-category order for the Musalgaon Transmission Works under the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) scheme.
The project has been awarded by Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) and involves the development of a new 220 kV AIS and Outdoor GIS substation, along with associated transmission lines.
The transmission infrastructure is expected to strengthen power supply to key load centres in the region, including areas supporting the upcoming Maha Kumbh at Nashik, Maharashtra.
The order further expands Sterling and Wilson’s portfolio in transmission infrastructure and supports the development of a stronger power grid in Maharashtra.
