Waaree Energies’ WCES Enters Specialty Gases Market, Plans Plant in Gujarat
Waaree Clean Energy Solutions (WCES), a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has entered India’s specialty gases business and is developing a facility at GIDC Saykha, Dahej, Gujarat.
The company plans to supply ultra-high-purity (UHP) gases and chemicals to India’s growing semiconductor and solar cell manufacturing sectors. The facility is being developed in phases, with planned capabilities including specialty-gas warehousing, UHP ammonia purification, a phosphine/hydrogen (PH₃/H₂) mixing plant and UHP oxygen.
WCES will also provide customised gas and chemical supply systems, nitrogen plants and a Total Gas & Chemical Management System covering storage, delivery, safety monitoring and inventory management.
Its planned portfolio includes silane, ammonia, nitrous oxide, phosphine mixtures, boron trichloride, trimethyl aluminium, diborane, germane/H₂ mixes, HBr, SF₆, nitric oxide, fluorinated gases and calibration gases, backed by pan-India supply.
The initiative is aimed at strengthening domestic availability of high-purity process gases for semiconductor fabs, OSAT/ATMP facilities, advanced electronics manufacturers and solar cell production lines.
