Waaree Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, has commissioned a new solar inverter manufacturing line with an annual capacity of 1.10 GW at Sarodhi, Valsad, Gujarat.

With the commissioning of the new line, the company’s total annual solar inverter manufacturing capacity has increased from 3.05 GW to 4.15 GW, strengthening its domestic manufacturing capabilities.

The expansion focuses on solar string inverters and aligns with Waaree’s broader strategy to develop an integrated solar energy solutions portfolio. It also reflects the growing importance of domestic manufacturing, supply-chain resilience and technological capabilities in supporting India’s renewable energy ambitions.

Key Highlights:

  • Total manufacturing capacity: 4.15 GW annually
  • New capacity addition: 1.10 GW annually
  • Manufacturing location: Sarodhi, Valsad, Gujarat
  • Product segment: Solar string inverters

The capacity expansion marks another step towards strengthening India’s solar manufacturing ecosystem and supporting the growing demand for reliable solar energy solutions.
