POWERCON Group has appointed Ravindra Chauhan as Senior Management Officer (SMO) – Business Development, strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its presence in the renewable energy sector.
Chauhan brings more than 22 years of experience across wind energy and engineering, with expertise spanning business development, strategic customer engagement, engineering services, and operations and maintenance. He has previously held senior positions at Suzlon, Senvion and InoxWind, where he was involved in business growth and large-scale renewable energy portfolios.
In his new role, Chauhan will work closely with the POWERCON leadership team to strengthen customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and expand the company’s market presence.
Commenting on his appointment, Chauhan said he looks forward to contributing his experience to POWERCON and supporting the company in delivering greater value to renewable energy asset owners.

POWERCON Group is currently executing full turnkey wind projects in Maharashtra and Karnataka. Its scope covers the complete project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning.
The appointment is expected to support POWERCON’s business development efforts as the company continues to expand its renewable energy project and services portfolio.
