SWELECT Energy Systems has inaugurated an additional 1 GW of PV module manufacturing capacity at its Coimbatore facility, taking its total module manufacturing capacity to over 2 GW.
The company has also launched a 10 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installation comprising two 5 MWh systems, strengthening its capabilities across solar manufacturing and energy storage.
The expansion builds on SWELECT’s earlier plan to scale its Coimbatore module facility from 1 GW to 2 GW. The company manufactures modules including TOPCon G12R and M10R, as well as Mono PERC variants.
SWELECT is also targeting expansion of its EPC and IPP portfolios by 1 GW each over the next two years, alongside its growing focus on BESS and integrated renewable-energy solutions.
