Sterlite Electric has announced the appointment of Vani Sundaram as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing an experienced finance leader to support the company’s continued growth and financial strategy.
Sundaram is a seasoned finance professional with extensive expertise in financial planning and analysis, controllership, financial reporting, and corporate finance. Her career spans several leading organizations across the power, infrastructure, healthcare, and professional services sectors.
Prior to joining Sterlite Electric, Sundaram served as Director of Finance at Tenneco Clean Air Limited. She previously held senior leadership positions at Azure Power, where she was responsible for FP&A and controllership functions.
Her association with Sterlite Electric also includes earlier leadership roles as Head of Finance, AVP Finance Head, and Chief Manager – Finance. This prior experience with the company is expected to provide valuable insight as she returns to take on the CFO role.
Sundaram’s professional journey also includes experience at Stryker as Associate Controller & Manager – Finance and at Indus Towers Limited, where she held positions in FP&A and financial reporting. She began her career with KPMG US and B. Shankar Aiyar & Company.
With her broad finance leadership experience and familiarity with Sterlite Electric’s business operations, Vani Sundaram is expected to play an important role in strengthening the company’s financial management, strategic planning, and long-term growth initiatives.
