ReNew Energy Global Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Results; Net Profit Rises 16%

ReNew Energy Global reported a strong Q1 FY27, with net profit rising 16% year-on-year to ₹595.3 crore, while total income increased 16% to ₹4,786.4 crore. Adjusted EBITDA stood at ₹3,039.2 crore. 

As of June 30, 2026, ReNew’s renewable energy portfolio stood at approximately 20.5 GW, including 1.7 GW / 6.2 GWh of BESS. Its commissioned capacity was approximately 13.1 GW, including 100 MW / 250 MWh of BESS. Subsequently, the company commissioned 466 MW of solar capacity, taking commissioned capacity to approximately 13.5 GW, net of 100 MW sold under its capital recycling strategy. 

ReNew also reported 6.4 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity and 2.5 GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity. An additional 4 GW of solar cell capacity is under expansion and is expected to become operational by December 2026. 

For FY27, ReNew has retained its Adjusted EBITDA guidance of ₹10,300–10,900 crore, subject to weather and resource availability being similar to FY26. 

This performance highlights ReNew’s continued expansion across renewable power generation, battery storage and domestic solar manufacturing, strengthening its position across India’s clean energy value chain.
