Powertrac Group has entered into an agreement with Sarvaiya Group to develop 100 MW of distributed solar projects as part of its independent power producer (IPP) portfolio in Gujarat. The projects are planned to supply renewable electricity to Gujarat DISCOMs under power purchase agreements (PPAs).
Under the agreement, Powertrac Group will undertake the projects on a turnkey basis, covering the complete development cycle, including grid connectivity, land procurement, transmission line laying, DPR preparation, financial closure support, EPC execution and operations & maintenance.
The partnership strengthens Powertrac’s distributed renewable energy portfolio in Gujarat. The company has also set a target of developing 1,000 MW of operational IPP renewable energy projects by 2030.
