ThunderPlus has commissioned a 0.5 MW public EV charging station at Kovvur on National Highway 16 in Andhra Pradesh, strengthening charging infrastructure along the Vijayawada–Visakhapatnam corridor.
Located at The Godavari Hub, the station is designed to serve passenger electric cars, commercial vehicles and intercity electric buses. The facility has arrangements for 24/7 power availability to support round-the-clock charging requirements.
ThunderPlus plans to expand the station’s capacity from 0.5 MW to 1 MW, supporting the growing demand for highway-based EV charging infrastructure across Southern India.
