Advanced Materials, part of Aditya Birla Chemicals (Thailand) Ltd., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Organic Recycling Systems Ltd. (ORSL) to develop sustainable composite waste recycling solutions, including waste generated from wind energy applications.

The collaboration will combine Aditya Birla’s Recyclamine® epoxy technology with ORSL’s expertise in waste recycling and resource recovery to establish a circular value chain for composite materials.

The initiative aims to address the challenges of recycling conventional epoxy-based composites by enabling the separation and recovery of valuable raw materials for potential reuse. The partnership will focus on integrating and optimising recycling processes to develop scalable and commercially viable solutions.

The collaboration marks a step towards reducing composite waste disposal, improving resource efficiency and advancing circularity in the wind energy and broader composites industries.
