Tsuyo Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. (Tsuyo), a leading Indian electric powertrain technology

and manufacturing company, announced a technical collaboration with Suzhou Lvkon Transmission Technology

Co., Ltd. (LvKON), a Chinese technology company specializing in electric drive systems for new energy commercial

vehicles. Building on a relationship spanning the past five years, this technology association will strengthen

Tsuyo’s strategic position in India’s evolving electric commercial vehicle industry.

By combining Tsuyo’s domestic manufacturing presence, engineering capabilities, and relationships with Indian

OEMs with LvKON’s product engineering expertise and commercial vehicle drivetrain experience, the

collaboration aims to deliver reliable, efficient, and application-specific electric drive systems for India’s rapidly

evolving mobility landscape. This development comes at a pivotal time for India’s commercial vehicle industry,

as electrification increasingly creates demand for high-performance, durable, and cost-effective powertrain

technologies tailored to the operating requirements of trucks, buses, and other commercial applications.

As a key pillar of its long-term growth strategy, Tsuyo is advancing plans for a greenfield manufacturing facility

spanning approximately 24 acres, expanding its existing industrial footprint and strengthening its ability to serve

India’s commercial vehicle OEMs.

The proposed facility is envisioned as an integrated platform for advanced electric powertrain engineering,

manufacturing, testing, and product validation. The collaboration is expected to focus on the development and

industrialization of high-performance electric motors, transmissions, integrated drive systems, and electronic

control technologies, supported by robust testing infrastructure and a comprehensive after-sales service

ecosystem.

Beyond manufacturing capacity, the strategic intent is to build a technology-led industrial platform in India that

combines global product expertise with local engineering, manufacturing, application development, and

customer support. This approach will enable Tsuyo to deepen its engagement with Indian OEMs, address diverse

vehicle requirements, and accelerate the deployment of dependable electric powertrain technologies across

multiple commercial vehicle segments.

Commenting on the significant development, Vijay Kumar, Founder & CEO, Tsuyo Manufacturing Pvt Ltd said,

“LvKON brings established expertise in electric drive systems for new energy commercial vehicles, with

capabilities spanning drive motors, transmissions, control systems, and integrated product development. Its

experience across commercial vehicle applications provides a valuable technological foundation for addressing

the performance, durability, efficiency, and reliability requirements of demanding operating environments. With

LvKON’s technology and industrialization support, the aim is to establish world-class capabilities in electric drive

systems and create a scalable foundation for developing and supplying next-generation solutions for India’s

commercial mobility sector.”

Mr. Eric, Director International Sales, LvKON said, “For the Indian electric commercial vehicle market, LVKON

believes that its development potential is enormous. Based on the rapid development of the current Indianmarket, LvKON also hopes to play an important role in this rapid development process. We have a very

professional technical team that can respond quickly to the differentiated needs of the Indian market and

efficiently complete customized design and production work. Once again, I would like to express my affirmation

of the long-term development of the Indian market. Let us grow together and work together to support the

development of the Indian commercial vehicle market.”

LvKON is expected to support Tsuyo across critical capability-building areas, including product engineering,

design validation, manufacturing processes, testing systems, and after-sales infrastructure. This technology

collaboration is intended to help Tsuyo shorten development cycles, improve product maturity, and establish a

stronger foundation for large-scale commercialization. Its experience in electric drive systems, drivetrain

integration, and commercial vehicle applications is expected to contribute significantly to the technology and

industrialization roadmap being developed with Tsuyo.

As the industry advances towards higher power ratings, greater system integration, improved energy efficiency,

and more demanding vehicle duty cycles, the ability to combine product engineering with industrial-scale

manufacturing and validation will become increasingly important. The Tsuyo–LvKON technical partnership seeks

to address this requirement by creating a platform that brings together product development, industrialization,

testing, and lifecycle support.

As India’s commercial mobility sector transitions towards electrification, Tsuyo is positioning itself to play a larger

role in developing and manufacturing the technologies that will power this transformation. The long-term

ambition is clear: to build an Indian electric powertrain company with world-class engineering capabilities,

scalable manufacturing infrastructure, and the ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions for commercial mobility in India and beyond.
