Fujiyama Power Systems has strengthened its clean-energy manufacturing footprint with the commissioning of a 2 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
The integrated manufacturing facility brings together multiple segments of the renewable energy value chain, including 2 GW of solar module manufacturing, 2 GW of power electronics and inverter capacity, and 2 GW of battery manufacturing capacity.
The company is also planning a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility, which could further deepen its vertical integration across the solar manufacturing ecosystem.
The Ratlam facility represents Fujiyama Power Systems’ broader strategy of building capabilities across solar modules, power electronics, energy storage and advanced solar cells. Such integration can help strengthen supply-chain resilience and support India’s growing demand for domestically manufactured clean-energy equipment.
With India rapidly expanding renewable energy deployment, domestic manufacturing of solar modules, inverters, batteries and solar cells is becoming increasingly important. Fujiyama’s Ratlam facility could therefore emerge as a significant manufacturing hub as the company scales its production capabilities.
The next phase will focus on capacity utilisation, manufacturing ramp-up and commercial output across the different production lines. Successful execution could further strengthen Fujiyama Power Systems’ position in India’s expanding renewable-energy manufacturing market.
