AMPIN Energy Transition has secured USD 195 million in green financing from SMBC and Rabobank to support a 100 MW hybrid renewable energy project, marking another major financing milestone for the company’s expanding clean energy portfolio.

The financing will support the development of an integrated hybrid renewable project, strengthening AMPIN’s ability to deploy large-scale clean power solutions and meet India’s growing demand for reliable renewable electricity. The transaction also highlights continued international lender confidence in India’s renewable energy sector and AMPIN’s project development capabilities.

AMPIN Energy Transition operates across solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage segments, serving both commercial and industrial customers as well as utility-scale markets. The company currently reports a 6 GWp portfolio, with further capacity in its late-stage pipeline and ambitious long-term expansion plans. 

The latest green financing from SMBC and Rabobank is expected to strengthen AMPIN’s capital base for executing hybrid renewable infrastructure and advancing India’s broader energy transition.
