BluPine Energy has signed a long-term Renewable Energy Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Bharti Hexacom Limited, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, for renewable power supply in Rajasthan.

The agreement marks another step in BluPine Energy’s expansion in Rajasthan and strengthens its presence in the commercial and industrial (C&I) renewable energy segment.

Through the partnership, renewable power will support Bharti Hexacom’s efforts to advance its sustainability objectives while increasing the use of clean energy in its operations. Long-term renewable energy PPAs are increasingly becoming an important mechanism for C&I consumers seeking reliable and cost-effective access to renewable power.

For BluPine Energy, the agreement adds to its growing C&I renewable energy portfolio and reflects its focus on developing clean energy solutions for businesses across India.

The partnership also highlights the growing role of corporate renewable energy procurement in supporting India’s clean energy transition. By entering into long-term arrangements for renewable power, businesses can align their electricity consumption with sustainability targets while supporting the development of renewable energy capacity.

BluPine Energy said the collaboration represents a significant milestone and thanked the teams at Bharti Hexacom and BluPine Energy involved in completing the agreement. The company also expressed its intention to build a long-term and impactful partnership with Bharti Hexacom.
