The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has expanded the approved capacity under ALMM List-II for solar PV cells to 39.4 GW, following the addition of 7,632 MW in its ninth revision.
As part of this expansion, EMMVEE Photovoltaic Power Limited has added a TOPCon solar cell model to its enlisted capacity of 2,153 MW per year under ALMM List-II. The development reflects the increasing adoption of advanced, high-efficiency cell technologies by Indian solar manufacturers.
