Jakson Infra has secured a ₹128.21 crore contract from Resonia Limited for the supply and construction of a 400 kV Double Circuit (Quad) Jagalur–Kadakola Transmission Line – Element 1B (Middle Section) in Karnataka.
The awarded transmission line stretch covers approximately 90.07 km and forms part of a larger transmission scheme involving the development of a 400 kV substation at Hampapura and associated transmission lines in Karnataka’s Mandya district. The broader project was awarded to Resonia by REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) through the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process.
Under the contract, Jakson Infra will undertake the engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing and commissioning (EPC) of the designated transmission line section.
The project is expected to strengthen Karnataka’s transmission capacity, improve grid reliability and support the state’s growing electricity demand.
The order further expands Jakson Infra’s presence in India’s power transmission and infrastructure sector, highlighting the growing need for robust transmission networks to support the country’s evolving energy requirements.
