KP Energy Limited has reported strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with revenue from operations rising 137% year-on-year to ₹519 crore, compared with ₹219 crore in Q1 FY26. Total income increased 136% YoY to ₹521 crore from ₹221 crore in the corresponding quarter.
The company’s EBITDA grew 25% YoY to ₹62 crore from ₹50 crore. Profit before tax increased 8% to ₹37 crore, while profit after tax stood at ₹26 crore, up 3% from ₹25 crore in Q1 FY26. Basic EPS improved marginally to ₹3.85 from ₹3.81.
KP Energy’s total expenses rose to ₹459 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹171 crore a year earlier. Interest costs increased to ₹15 crore, while depreciation and amortisation rose to ₹9 crore.
As of Q1 FY27, the company reported a renewable energy portfolio of 3.73 GW, including 2.16 GW of projects in hand. Its installed capacity stood at 1.57 GW, while its O&M portfolio reached 646 MW. The company also reported 48.5 MW of operational IPP assets and another 202 MW of IPP projects in hand.
KP Energy continues to focus on wind and wind-solar hybrid projects, offering capabilities across site identification, resource assessment, engineering, construction, commissioning, power evacuation and O&M. The company has also developed capabilities for installing and commissioning wind turbines of 4–5 MW and above, supported by LiDAR, wind masts, wind-mapping software and AI-enabled monitoring systems.
Looking ahead, KP Energy sees opportunities from India’s growing wind capacity, hybrid and round-the-clock renewable projects, offshore wind, turbine repowering and the integration of wind, solar and energy storage.
