NIRL–NCRTC Renewables Limited, a joint venture between NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL) and the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), is set to develop a 110 MW (AC) grid-connected solar PV project in Uttar Pradesh.
The project follows NCRTC’s award for the development of the solar project under captive mode. Power generated from the project is planned to be supplied under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), with the full project capacity scheduled to commence supply within 24 months of the PPA’s effective date.
The joint venture, incorporated in May 2026, has an equity structure of 74% for NIRL and 26% for NCRTC. The project marks another step in NLC India’s renewable energy expansion and NCRTC’s efforts to support clean-power infrastructure.
