Oswal Pumps is expanding its presence across the solar value chain, with plans to begin in-house solar inverter production within the next six months. The company has already developed a prototype and expects to begin field testing within two months.
The move strengthens Oswal Pumps’ vertical integration strategy, complementing its existing capabilities in solar modules, structures and balance-of-system (BOS) components. The company’s first additional 1 GW module manufacturing capacity is also expected to commence commercial production in September 2026.
Oswal Pumps is simultaneously expanding its rooftop solar business under the PM Surya Ghar programme, with management targeting approximately ₹800–1,000 crore in FY27 revenue from the segment.
The company’s solar EPC business currently has an order book of around 72 MW, supported by a broader 359 MW pipeline across rooftop, utility-scale and C&I projects.
