Oyster Renewable Energy, in partnership with Aster DM Quality Care, has commissioned a 10 MW ground-mounted solar power project for Aster Medcity in Kerala.
Located at Ambalathara and adjoining villages in Kasargod district, the project uses high-efficiency bifacial solar modules designed for Kerala’s tropical climate. It is expected to generate around 17.7 million units of renewable energy annually and meet over 90% of Aster Medcity’s total energy requirement on a captive basis.
The project, developed through Oyster Green Hybrid Two, involves an investment of ₹3.87 crore by Aster DM Quality Care and is expected to offset approximately 23,138 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually once fully operational. The commissioning marks the first operational phase, with subsequent phases planned.
