Suzlon Energy Limited has allotted 6,40,726 fully paid-up equity shares to eligible employees of the company and its subsidiaries under its Employee Stock Option Plan 2022 (ESOP 2022). The allotment was approved by the company’s Securities Issue Committee through a circular resolution on September 18, 2026.
The newly allotted shares carry a face value of ₹2 each and were issued in dematerialised form following the exercise of stock options under three separate grants. The company realised ₹1.87 crore from the exercise of these options.
Under Grant 1, dated May 22, 2023, employees exercised options for 80,000 shares at an exercise price of ₹5 per share. Grant 2, dated May 23, 2024, covered 4,09,752 shares at ₹30 per share, while Grant 5, dated May 19, 2025, involved 1,50,974 shares at an exercise price of ₹40 per share.
Following the allotment, Suzlon Energy’s paid-up share capital increased to ₹2,749.26 crore, comprising approximately 137.46 crore fully paid-up equity shares with a face value of ₹2 each, according to the company’s regulatory disclosure.
The company disclosed the allotment under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations, along with the applicable regulations governing share-based employee benefits and sweat equity.
