Trinity Cleantech Showcases Bioethanol EV Charger and Compact Substations at India Energy Summit 2026

Trinity Cleantech showcased its next-generation clean energy and power infrastructure solutions at the India Energy Summit & Expo 2026 in Hyderabad, highlighting innovations designed to support sustainable mobility, grid modernisation and decentralised energy infrastructure.

A major attraction at the company’s pavilion was the ME Energy Rapid Charger 150, a 150 kW bioethanol-powered off-grid DC fast EV charger with dual CCS2 outputs. The technology can generate electricity on-site using liquid bioethanol, enabling EV charging without relying on a conventional grid connection.

Trinity Cleantech also showcased its Package Substation and Compact Substation platform, with capacities ranging from 250 kVA to 2,500 kVA and voltage ratings of up to 33 kV. The integrated solution combines transformers, HV/LV switchgear, protection, metering and digital connectivity, while also being SCADA-ready and EMS-compatible.

The solutions attracted interest from government officials, power-sector representatives and industry stakeholders, underlining the growing focus on alternative EV charging infrastructure and smart electrical systems. Trinity sees applications for its bioethanol-powered charging technology across highways, fleet depots, industrial and mining sites, rural locations, construction projects and emergency-response operations.

The company’s participation reflects a broader transition towards cleaner mobility and advanced power infrastructure, combining Trinity’s established electrical engineering expertise with emerging clean-energy technologies.
