Vikram Solar Secures 400 MW Module Supply Order for Agri-Solar Projects in Maharashtra
Vikram Solar has secured a 400 MW solar module supply order from a leading EPC company for a portfolio of decentralised solar projects being developed across multiple locations in Maharashtra. The order will support the state’s growing agricultural-feeder solarisation segment, with module supplies scheduled to begin in October 2026.
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply its high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon G12R modules with a power output of 620 Wp. The modules feature glass-to-glass construction, bifacial technology and half-cut cells, designed for high-performance solar installations.
The projects are being developed across multiple locations in Maharashtra, aligning with the broader push toward decentralised renewable energy generation and agricultural feeder solarisation. Such projects are intended to bring renewable power generation closer to consumption centres while supporting reliable electricity access for agricultural communities.
Vikram Solar Chairman and Managing Director Gyanesh Chaudhary said programmes such as MSKVY 2.0 are helping bring the benefits of solar power closer to farmers and agricultural communities. He also highlighted the company’s G12R TOPCon technology and its ability to support geographically distributed solar deployments.
The supply programme is scheduled to commence in October 2026, with the order expected to be executed by March 2027. The financial value of the 400 MW contract has not been disclosed.
The order adds to Vikram Solar’s growing presence in decentralised solar deployment and highlights the increasing role of high-efficiency domestic PV modules in Maharashtra’s agricultural solarisation initiatives.
