Best Power Equipments (BPE) has reinforced its focus on India-made energy storage solutions as the country accelerates its transition towards a cleaner and more flexible power system.

Marking Akshay Urja Diwas, BPE highlighted the growing importance of energy storage alongside India’s rapid renewable energy expansion. The company is focusing on intelligent, solar-integrated storage solutions designed to support a transition away from conventional diesel-based backup systems.

BPE’s portfolio includes lithium-ion energy storage platforms with solar MPPT compatibility, containerised Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and high-efficiency power conversion systems. These solutions are aimed at improving the use of renewable energy while supporting reliable power delivery.

The company has also expanded its manufacturing footprint to approximately 1.5 lakh sq. ft. across six facilities, including a new unit in Greater Noida. BPE is simultaneously strengthening its international presence, with offices in Singapore and Dubai and an expanding presence in the UK, alongside manufacturing collaborations and planned market expansion in other regions.

As India scales up solar and other renewable capacity, the need for domestic energy storage infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. BPE’s expansion reflects the broader push to develop reliable, efficient and locally manufactured energy storage solutions that can support India’s clean-energy transition.
