alfanar Group has announced an additional investment of ₹950 crore (US$100 million) in Senvion India, strengthening its plans to expand wind turbine manufacturing, technology development and global operations.
The fresh capital will support new turbine technologies, R&D, manufacturing expansion and project development, further strengthening Senvion’s position in India’s growing wind energy market.
Senvion India currently has approximately 1.5 GW of annual manufacturing capacity and an operational fleet exceeding 1.6 GW, with turbine platforms ranging from 2.3 MW to 4.2 MW.
The investment also reflects alfanar’s broader ambition to position India as a manufacturing and innovation hub for renewable energy, serving both domestic and international markets.
