Kalpa Power has secured a 286 MWp utility-scale solar project in Madhya Pradesh, strengthening its growing portfolio of large-scale renewable energy projects across India.

The project comes as Madhya Pradesh continues to expand its renewable energy footprint. The state’s renewable energy capacity has increased nearly 25-fold over the past 12 years, rising from 438 MW to more than 11,000 MW.

The latest win adds to Kalpa Power’s ongoing expansion. The company recently announced plans for a 100 MW open-access solar park with EHV connectivity in Mukhed, Maharashtra, while it is also developing renewable projects in Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Kalpa Power has executed 300+ projects with cumulative capacity exceeding 490 MWp and is targeting 5 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.
