Apraava Energy has secured an interstate transmission project in Andhra Pradesh, strengthening its presence in India’s rapidly expanding power transmission infrastructure sector.
The project is linked to the development of transmission infrastructure around the Ananthapuram-III Renewable Energy Zone, which is being planned to facilitate the evacuation of large-scale renewable power. Apraava Energy was among the technically qualified bidders for the project under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework.
The transmission system is designed to support the evacuation of around 3 GW of renewable energy from the Ananthapuram-III REZ in Andhra Pradesh, helping strengthen grid connectivity and enable greater integration of solar and wind generation.
