Danfoss Power Solutions has appointed Anup Deshmukh as Managing Director of its India business, effective immediately. Based in Pune, Deshmukh will lead the India leadership team and oversee the company’s business strategy and growth across the country.
In his newly created role, Deshmukh will focus on business growth, customer and partner relationships, local capability building, and talent development. He will also represent the Power Solutions segment on Danfoss India’s country governance board.
Deshmukh brings nearly 28 years of experience across sales, business development, manufacturing operations, general management and strategic growth. Before joining Danfoss Power Solutions, he held senior leadership positions at Parker Hannifin across India, China and Southeast Asia, most recently serving as Country Sales Director in India. Earlier, he worked with General Electric.
He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Shivaji University, along with diplomas in Marketing and Business Management from NMIMS and ICFAI.
