Inox Wind has secured a ₹755 crore turnkey order from Indian Oil Corporation (Indian Oil) for a 100 MW wind energy project, strengthening its position in India’s growing wind power market. The repeat order includes end-to-end project execution as well as long-term operations and maintenance services.
Under the contract, Inox Wind will be responsible for the supply of wind turbine generators, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project execution and post-commissioning operations and maintenance for 10 years. The comprehensive scope allows the company to manage the project across its entire lifecycle.
The order further expands Inox Wind’s customer base across public sector undertakings, independent power producers and commercial and industrial customers. It also reinforces the company’s integrated wind energy capabilities, covering turbine manufacturing, project development, EPC and long-term O&M services.
Inox Wind operates five manufacturing facilities across Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, producing blades, tubular towers, hubs and nacelles. The company currently has an annual manufacturing capacity of 2.5 GW through its 3 MW and upcoming 4.45 MW wind turbine generator platforms.
The latest order comes as India’s wind energy sector enters a strong expansion phase, supported by rising project activity and increasing demand for domestic wind equipment and integrated renewable energy solutions. India added a record 6.05 GW of wind capacity in FY26, taking cumulative installed wind capacity to 58.14 GW as of July 31, 2026.
