KSL Cleantech Limited has achieved a major milestone in the development of its 100 MW solar power project for Godawari Power & Ispat Limited (GPIL) in Chhattisgarh, with 80 MW of the project now completed.

The progress marks a significant step towards the full commissioning of the large-scale solar installation, with 20 MW remaining to reach the project’s planned 100 MW capacity. Alongside the installation milestone, the project has also successfully secured CEIG approval, marking an important regulatory and technical achievement.

The completion of 80 MW reflects the continued progress of KSL Cleantech’s project execution activities and its focus on delivering utility-scale renewable energy infrastructure for industrial power requirements.

The project has involved coordinated efforts across engineering, project execution and site teams. Their work has supported the installation and advancement of the solar project while maintaining the required technical and site safety standards.

With CEIG approval secured and 80 MW already completed, KSL Cleantech is continuing work towards the remaining 20 MW of capacity. Once completed, the project will reach its targeted 100 MW capacity for GPIL in Chhattisgarh.

The milestone highlights KSL Cleantech’s growing involvement in large-scale solar infrastructure and its continued efforts to support the expansion of clean energy capacity for Indian industry.
