Yash Highvoltage Expands US Sales Network to 22 States with New Gateway Power Partnership
Yash Highvoltage has expanded its presence in the US power infrastructure market after its subsidiary, YASH HV USA INC., entered into a 36-month representation agreement with Gateway Power Sales. The agreement, effective September 29, 2026, will add three Midwestern US states to the company’s sales and representation network.
Under the agreement, Gateway Power Sales will support the promotion, marketing and sales of Yash Highvoltage’s transformer bushing products. Its responsibilities will also include stakeholder mapping, product evangelism, utility approvals and product homologation across the newly covered territories.
The latest partnership expands YASH HV USA’s US representation footprint from 19 states to 22 states. The company had earlier appointed ENSALES ELECTRICAL ASSOCIATES to support sales development, utility homologation and approvals across 19 states, strengthening its strategy of working with established local representatives to navigate the diverse US utility market.
The US electrical sector includes more than 3,000 utilities, creating a broad market for transmission and power-generation equipment. Yash Highvoltage is using partnerships with regional representatives to improve market access, strengthen engagement with utilities and support the adoption of its products in projects across the country.
The product portfolio being represented includes low-voltage high-current bushings rated up to 25,000 amps, oil-impregnated paper (OIP) condenser bushings up to 245 kV, and resin-impregnated paper (RIP) and resin-impregnated synthetic (RIS) condenser bushings up to 230 kV. These products are expected to be available from 2027 onwards.
Keyur Shah, Chairman and Managing Director of Yash Highvoltage, said the expansion from 19 to 22 states will strengthen the company’s engagement with US utilities and customers. He highlighted the role of experienced local representatives in supporting market access, utility approvals and product adoption as the company expands its advanced bushing technologies.
The latest agreement marks another step in Yash Highvoltage’s international expansion strategy and is expected to strengthen its position in the US transmission and power infrastructure market.
