Ola Electric has expanded its Shakti energy storage portfolio, introducing solutions designed to address energy storage requirements ranging from residential backup to commercial, industrial and utility-scale applications.

Built around the company’s indigenous LFP battery technology and vertically integrated cell-to-system capabilities, the portfolio is structured across three key segments: Shakti Gen2 for residential applications, Shakti Rack for commercial and infrastructure use, and Mahashakti for industrial and utility-scale energy storage.

Shakti Gen2 is designed for home backup and solar energy storage, while Shakti Rack targets commercial establishments and infrastructure applications. Mahashakti is aimed at larger industrial and grid-scale deployments, expanding Ola Electric’s presence beyond electric mobility into the wider energy storage market.

For residential users, the newly announced Shakti Gen2 models include 4.6 kWh/3 kW and 9.2 kWh/6 kW configurations, with prices starting at ₹99,999. Reservations are available for ₹999, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November 2026.
