Oyster Renewable Energy Pvt. Ltd. has successfully commissioned the 52.8 MW Phase II of its wind power project at Dayapar, Kutch, Gujarat, further strengthening India’s clean energy transition.
Developed for Jindal Stainless Ltd., the project features 16 advanced INOX Wind 3.3 MW wind turbine generators with a 145 m rotor diameter and 122.5 m hub height, enabling higher energy generation and improved operational efficiency.
As part of Oyster Renewable’s larger 99 MW wind project and 315.6 MW hybrid renewable energy portfolio, the installation is expected to help avoid approximately 92,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually once the entire project becomes operational.
The milestone reflects the growing momentum of corporate renewable energy adoption, advanced indigenous wind technology, and India’s continued push toward industrial decarbonization.
