Gujarat, India: POWERTRAC Group has achieved financial closure for the 100 MW Phase-1 solar project under Gujarat’s Distributed Renewable Energy Bilateral Purchase (DREBP) Scheme, marking a significant milestone in the company’s renewable energy expansion.
The project forms part of POWERTRAC Group’s 480 MW distributed renewable energy portfolio and is supported by a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat DISCOM at a competitive tariff of ₹2.76/kWh. The project will utilize ALMM-listed DCR Solar PV modules, strengthening India’s clean energy transition while promoting domestic solar manufacturing.
With financial closure secured, project execution is expected to accelerate as POWERTRAC Group advances toward its long-term objective of developing a 1 GW operational Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio.
