Powertrac Group and Jio Things Ltd. have entered into a strategic partnership for the pan-India distribution and deployment of Jio SPARQ Microinverters and communication devices, covering projects with an overall capacity of more than 500 MW. The partnership is aimed at expanding access to intelligent microinverter technology across India’s growing rooftop solar market.
Under the agreement, Powertrac Group will serve as the master distributor for Jio SPARQ Microinverters across India. The company will support nationwide distribution, faster product deliveries and local customer service, strengthening the availability of microinverter-based solutions for residential, commercial and industrial rooftop solar applications.
Powertrac Group, which has more than 18 years of industry experience, will lead the distribution network and provide local support as the two companies target wider deployment of scalable and high-efficiency solar systems. The partnership also aligns with the expansion of rooftop solar adoption in India and the objectives of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
Jio SPARQ Microinverters are designed with module-level power optimisation and independent maximum power point tracking (MPPT), supporting up to four PV panels through individual DC input channels. The system offers panel-level monitoring, dual-mode On-Grid and Off-Grid operation and AI-powered cloud monitoring for rooftop and EPC applications.
The microinverter platform supports systems ranging from 2 kW to 500 kW, with up to 2,000 W AC output and 720 Wp DC input per channel. Its all-AC architecture is designed to simplify system installation by eliminating complex string sizing and high-voltage DC wiring. The solution also incorporates eSIM LTE connectivity, JioThings cloud-based panel-level monitoring and SCADA integration.
The partnership is expected to strengthen the distribution and service ecosystem for intelligent solar technologies while enabling wider adoption of microinverter-based rooftop systems across India.
