Resonia Acquires 100% Stake in Balsane Power Transmission for 3 GW Maharashtra Project

Resonia has acquired a 100% stake in Balsane Power Transmission Ltd. (BPTL), a project-specific SPV for an intra-state transmission project in Maharashtra.

The project will enable 3 GW of power evacuation across Dhule and Nashik districts and span approximately 210 km. It includes a 765/400/220 kV AIS substation at Balsane, along with 765 kV, 400 kV and 220 kV transmission lines connecting key nodes including Malegaon, Shivajinagar and Vikharan. 

The project marks Resonia’s first intra-state transmission project in Maharashtra and is expected to strengthen the state’s transmission backbone while supporting the integration of additional generation capacity.
