Zomato, Blinkit Host Third EV Bazaar in Delhi, Showcasing 30+ Electric Two-Wheeler Models
Eternal’s food delivery platform Zomato and quick-commerce platform Blinkit have hosted the third edition of EV Bazaar in New Delhi, bringing together 2,500 delivery partners, more than 20 electric vehicle (EV) original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and other EV ecosystem stakeholders to accelerate electric mobility in last-mile deliveries.
Held to promote EV adoption among delivery partners, EV Bazaar 3.0 showcased more than 30 electric two-wheeler models, enabling participants to explore vehicle ownership, rental, financing, charging and battery-swapping options.
The event was attended by Mahmood Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, as the chief guest; Jitender Patil, Head of the EV Cell, Transport Department, Government of Maharashtra; and former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan.
As of September 30, 2026, more than 200,000 delivery partners across Zomato and Blinkit were using electric two-wheelers for deliveries. During FY26, EVs powered 228 million deliveries across the two platforms, helping avoid approximately 9,926 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.
The initiative provides delivery partners with an opportunity to compare EV models, interact directly with manufacturers and service providers, and assess the practical and financial benefits of switching to electric vehicles.
To make EV adoption more accessible, Zomato and Blinkit offer a vehicle rental feature through their delivery partner apps, allowing riders to rent electric two-wheelers without the upfront cost of purchasing one. The feature also helps them locate charging and battery-swapping stations within their delivery zones. More than 23,000 delivery partners used this feature to rent EVs for deliveries in FY26.
Additionally, Zomato Local Services launched its own EV rental fleet in June 2025. More than 1,500 electric two-wheelers had been deployed across Delhi and Chennai as of March 2026.
EV Bazaar 3.0 also recognised delivery partners contributing to the transition towards electric mobility. Three partners received new electric two-wheelers, while another was awarded a one-year free rental plan.
The initiative highlights the growing role of electric mobility in reducing emissions, supporting delivery partners and building a more sustainable last-mile delivery ecosystem in India.
