Tripura, India: Tripura has achieved 15.3 MW of installed rooftop solar capacity under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, with 4,460 households adopting rooftop solar systems across the state.
The scheme has facilitated ₹32.52 crore in subsidies for 3,853 consumers, encouraging clean energy adoption while enabling households to reduce electricity bills and benefit from net metering.
The milestone highlights the growing success of the PM Surya Ghar initiative in expanding residential solar adoption and supporting India’s renewable energy transition.
