Waaree Transpower, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies, is investing approximately ₹192 crore to establish a new 500 MVA, 400 kV high-voltage transformer manufacturing facility. The expansion will strengthen the company’s power infrastructure capabilities and support India’s growing transmission and renewable energy requirements.

The new facility is expected to become operational by April 2027 and will enable manufacturing across the 132 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV voltage classes. It will also allow Waaree Transpower to participate in larger and more technically demanding transmission and grid infrastructure projects.

Waaree Transpower currently has an order book of approximately ₹360 crore for execution during FY 2026–27. The investment is aimed at strengthening transmission infrastructure and facilitating the integration of large-scale renewable energy and energy storage into the grid.
