The Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Maharashtra, has partnered with Project Mumbai as the nodal government partner for Mumbai Climate Week (MCW) 2027. The second edition of the climate-focused event will be held from February 23–26, 2027, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
The partnership is aimed at strengthening coordination with key state and civic agencies and accelerating collaborative climate action across Mumbai and Maharashtra. Mumbai Climate Week will bring together government bodies, businesses, experts, civil society and citizens to advance practical solutions for climate challenges.
MCW 2027 will follow a Hub & Spoke model, with the main hub at the Jio World Convention Centre and climate-focused activities taking place across different neighbourhoods, campuses and institutions. Key focus areas include food systems, energy transition, urban resilience, circularity and biodiversity.
